I’ m taking a new online class “Doings of a Do-o-dle” with Diane Culhane which started on april 21. She writes:

“… grow your doodles into larger painted work (…) Doodling is really just mark making… marks that happen when you are otherwise occupied. These marks that flow from you naturally while you are doodling can be an expression of your style, like your handwriting. “

I don’t consider myself a doodler but I gave it a try to learn from Diane and to meet her virtual one more time. And my morning page turned into a doodle and not into a imaginary creature.
