I like to tell you about that amazing exhibition from August to December 2012 in Cologne.

In the year 1912 in Cologne one of the important exhibitions of the 20. century named “Sonderbundschau” was shown. This show – 100 years later – was renew, and more than 650 paintings and objects were collected in the Josef-Haubrich-Museum: Cezanne, Cross, Gauguin, van Gogh, Picasso, Macke, Munch, Nolde, Schiele and many more.

You can’t image that feeling seeing this paintings in original. Wow!! Can you? I wish I could find the right words to describe my feeling when I saw the original painting. Every strike of the brush, every texture were to see. The colors are so bright, so colorful, so beautiful. Before this day I hadn’t known that this could be such an exciting adventure.

I draw with red and black ink from a placard to the exhibition which shows a self-portrait of – I hope you could name – Vincent van Gogh. Perhaps I should add some watercolor tomorrow.
