A completely random scribble in red but it is almost a finished face. And I’m hardly going to ruin it with a bad use of makers and water on simple sketchbook paper…. I feel unable to take the drawings – in the last few days – any further because every strike seems wrong. How can I pop my view out  of the scribble without ending in a mess?

Btw: the face reminds me of a former close friend.
